Legal Associate

Minimum qualifications:

• 5 years’ experience in legal field.
• Law Degree.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience in working on advisory assignments and managing litigation.
• Well-organized with the ability to manage numerous clienteles simultaneously; and
• Knowledge of UK immigration is an advantage.
• Possess excellent communication and client care skills
• Able to prioritise a busy workload and delegate where possible

Responsibilities (includes but not limited to):

• Handling own caseload of private client matters
• Representing elderly and vulnerable clients
• Attend Interviews and advises clients, undertakes preparatory work for cases.
• Obtain knowledge and caseload in all aspects of immigration and common law practice
• Conduct legal reviews and work in consultation with the firm’s representatives to provide solution-oriented practical advice clients.
• Carry out specialised legal research in respect of ongoing work and preparing legal reports and papers on current legal issues and practice areas where required
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws across all aspects of firm’s operations in the region.
• Work closely with various legal and business team members

Additional information:

• Starting salary :     £ 25,600
• Contract length :    Permanent
• Hours of work :     39 hours per week
• Start date :           14th Novenber 2022
