Samriti joined the firm as a legal administrator in November 2014 and has since progressed her position and has become an Associate Solicitor (2+ PQE years) and IAAS Senior Accredited Caseworker at level 2. She is accredited under the Law Society’s Immigration and Asylum Accreditation Scheme, which allows her to provide specialist legal representation under the firm's legal aid franchise.
Samriti represents both private and legally aided clients in Immigration matters, she covers all aspects in immigration, nationality, asylum, and human rights law with emphasis on asylum-seekers, other vulnerable immigrants, deportation cases, minors, victims of torture and victims of trafficking. She has extensive experience in dealing with detained asylum cases, bail applications, entry clearance applications, and conducting appeals against adverse decisions to the First tier/Upper Tribunal of the Immigration Asylum Chamber. Samriti also works on other immigration matters such as settlement, nationality, Tier 2, and Tier 1 applications.
Samriti has an enhanced CRB status, which permits her to represent unaccompanied asylum-seeking children. Samriti fully understands the needs of her clients and is experienced in achieving positive results for her clients, considering every person she works with kindness and compassion.
Samriti enjoys teaching, going to the theatre, beauty and reading in her spare time.
